This course is intended for existing Site Warden competency holders who wish to be re-certificated. This refresher course looks at the responsibilities for undertaking Site Warden duties on Network Rail Infrastructure. It is designed to develop a person’s knowledge, understanding and skills and is therefore particularly suited to individuals required to prove their capability in these areas. The aim of this course is to provide delegates with the technical and non-technical skills and underpinning knowledge required to undertake their duties in line with the unit of competence.

• Must be a ‘white hat’ and minimum 18 years of age 
• Must hold a valid Sentinel Track Safety Card endorsed with PTS and meet the requirements of NR/L2/CTM/021 – Competence and Training in Track Safety. 
• Must have a Lookout Logbook (Work experience book) with a minimum of 4 entries endorsed withing the last 2 years. Work Experience Logbooks not meeting these requirements will result in candidates not being eligible for the course.  
• Meet the medical requirements of Network Rail Standard NR/L2/OHS/00124 Competence Specific Fitness Medical Requirements to minimum medical level 1 or 3 (must be eligible to work alone) and Network Rail Standard NR/L1/OHS/051 (Drugs & Alcohol). 
• Must have a mandatory 12 twelve (12) hour rest period before the course as per the rules on Working Time Regulations (1998) and Network Rail Standards NR/L2/OHS/003.

Results for the Site Warden recert competence will be uploaded onto your Sentinel card/profile within 24 hours on successful completion of the event. Should there be any complication in uploading the competence, we will endeavour to resolve the matter within 5 working days.
